Picked up for a second season. I’ve continued watching it. It is good but
not great. Maybe with another season to grow it’ll be better.

I just watched ep 3 or 4 tonight and I actually did laugh once. So I'll
keep going.
Dan is such a great character.

John Larroquette is very watchable. From his early supporting roles in
Black Sheep Squadron and Stripes to the cult classic sitcom of his own
name, he just has that spark.
I heard rumors that after the Night Court episode of 30 Rock, the concept
of a single camera comedy series featuring all the original characters
later in life was seriously considered. I’m sad that didn’t come to pass.

Adam Bowie, to moi, Jan 19th:
Now confirmed as being on the CW.

Reports suggest that the tournament is not paying for access, but it seems
unlikely that this was a big money deal, since basically every other
network has a relationship with the PGA that they can't afford to damage. I
guess the CW has nothing to lose.
There's nobody in the UK signed up for this yet. Sky is in bed with the
PGA, and BT Sport is now part of a deal with Eurosport, owned by Warner
Bros Discovery who have PGA deals elsewhere. So they're off the table. That
doesn't really leave anyone else - at least not with a noticeable
footprint. In any case, golf has diminished as a popular sport in the UK
with no live events on free TV at all. Even the Open and Ryder Cup only get
highlights coverage on free TV.
I confess that Arlo White went down a lot in my estimation when he took the
Saudi $$$ to become lead commentator for the tour.

The Greenbrier (Aug 4-6) is owned by Governor Jim Justice (R-WV), who answers the question “What if XLV were more folksy, more obese, and brought his English bulldog with him everywhere he went?” (Fwiw, he’s term-limited in ’24, so he may go after Manchin’s seat in the Senate.)

Yup, Sly, along with wife Jennifer and their three sorta-cute daughters.
He's also doing a second season of *Tulsa King.*
