On October 3rd, 1995, a jury found OJ Simpson not guilty of a double homicide.

On October 3rd, 2008, a jury found OJ Simpson guilty of armed robbery,
conspiracy to kidnap, and assault with a deadly weapon.

Somewhere out there, there is a smile under Fred Goldman's handlebar mustache.

As an aside that may be only relevant to me: I subscribe to three e-
mail news alerts: BBC, WSJ, and Chicago Tribune. The only one that
fired off an alert on this: BBC.

FWIW, of my subscribed alerts, the only outlets the story triggered
were The New York Times ["O.J. Simpson Found Guilty in Armed Robbery
Trial"] and KABC-TV (dba ABC7 Eyewitness News/abc7.com): "Verdict
reached in O.J. Simpson trial".

(Apparently in LA, even today, mentioning that OJS is guilty of
something in a blurb might be construed as fightin' words.)
