cbc olypmics on Prime Video- does it work in USA

CBC's Tokyo Olympics coverage will be available on Amazon Prime Video (msn.com)

I'm curious if it is accessible to US subscribers?

As a Canadian, I do find it odd that they are sharing it on Prime.    The CBC has many streaming options (Gem app, and desktop) for olympic coverage.

Perhaps Amazon is paying the CBC for that? With HNIC gone, the only big sports property left that the CBC can capitalize on is the Olympics.

 Just looked and saw nothing about this on Prime. I searched for both “Olympics” and “CBC” and got blanks. Would be interested if anyone knows of a workaround.

The usual suggestion for things like this is to use a VPN, although it’s possible Amazon might be using additional blocking beyond just looking at the viewer’s location (e.g., the primary address on the Amazon account has to be in Canada, or something like that).

(Note that it’s almost certainly against Amazon’s terms of service to do this, same as with just about every other streaming provider.)

Pgage.... I suggest you sign up for a VPN trial which would probably cover 7-14 days.

Then just use VPN, and CBC Olympics website. Forget about the Amazon Prime method.  Seems obvious now that the CBC Olympic coverage is available on Prime only to Canadian audience.
