These were the only Lakers who mattered to me, and the only period in my life when I cared (or played) basketball. My brother is forever jealous of me because my jr. high team played a game as the sort of pre-show for a Laker game inside the Fabulous Forum. I include this only to juxtapose how little interest I have in a series about the only sports franchise I ever cared about. I know what happened, I know when it happened. It’s why the movie “Titanic” held no interest to me.
