Good news: Lesley Goldberg at the paywalled The Ankler reports that Amazon discussed a reboot of "The Apprentice" last year and pretty much decided not to for various reasons, among them the requirement of Secret Service presence for Trump family members.
Meanwhile, Amazon sits on the library of Heatter-Quigley game show formats that they own by way of Orion and MGM. I know that the prime property, "Hollywood Squares," was sold off to KingWorld years ago (and is now owned by CBS/Paramount, who are doing it a disservice with that awful Drew Barrymore reboot), how about a high-tech reboot of "Video Village" or just bringing back "High Rollers" or "Gambit?" (With our luck, it'll be "The Magnificent Marble Machine" or "Amateur's Guide to Love.")
