The seat of Neil Peart is being filled by Anika Nilles (photo), fortysomething German woman who's been active on Youtube since the early 20-teens, previously toured with Jeff Beck and released multiple solo albums... a modest North American tour begins in June at the L.A. Forum and ends that September in Cleveland... and yes, Peart's family approves:

As a Canadian, and a fan, I have to say I'm happy about this.   For the band, for the fans, for the songs. 

Can't wait to see what they do with the songs and added friends on stage
