Leggy supermodel Tyra Banks is leaving the long-running reality comp "Dancing With the Stars" after three cycles to focus on behind-the-scenes work in entertainment--her hiring followed the much-hated by fans decision to dump Tom Bergeron as host and included the risky move from ABC to Disney+, which seemingly went well (which, along with Peacock's renewal of "Days of Our Lives," seems to show that older-skewing shows won't die on streaming)--no replacement announced, but co-host Alfonso "Carlton" Ribiero could fly solo:
"DWTS" has been going through some cast changes recently--Cranky Brit judge Len Goodman announced last fall that he was retiring from the US version (with no hint if he will continue on the UK parent "Strictly Come Dancing") and pro dancer Cheryl Burke will not be putting the D-listers through their paces (although she has said that she would not mind a spot on the panel).
