back channels

Here in the windswept, waterlogged New York City region, where we
continue to endure saturation (!) coverage of the storm and its
aftermath, I'm wondering if ABC and Fox have alternative outlets
available to Time Warner customers as CBS (55 and 755) and NBC (161)
do. Does anyone know? Thanks.

Philly's 6ABC ran the usual ABC schedule on their digital subchannel
Live Well Network. You should check your listings for that channel.

Seconded.  While tuning in the digital subchannels on the TV directly is straightforward, figuring out where they are on you cable/satellite provider's dial is a wholly separate thought process.

ABC is using 6.2 in Philly and 7.2 in NYC to run backup programming on, so
wherever that livewell garbage is, you'll find ABC backup.
