If you read underneath the Colbert item, you'll see something abou a class action suit being filed against Nexstar CW affil WGN and several Black-oriented radio stations in Chicago for airing the alleged financial expert Brandon "Mr. Finance" Ellington, convicted of mortgage fraud in 2009, on several programs, including one of their two daytime talk/infomercial programs, to plug what was essentially a Ponzi scheme that grifted $15M from viewers that assumed that if it was on Chicago's Very Own Channel 9 it must be the truth, without saying anything about his past (which frankly they may not have known about).
