John MIller, marketing chief at NBC for 25 years, apologizes in the current U.S. News for making people think that Trump was a great businessman in promoting "The Apprentice" and helping to make him well-known enough outside of Page Six readers to be where he is now:

Although I haven't read Lucky Loser, I understand that it covers Trump's lucrative arrangement with Burnett, which wasn't covered in Apprentice in Wonderland, which I did read.  Trump made more money from Celebrity Apprentice than anything else he's done in his life.  Unlike the New York Times investigative reporters, Setoodeh didn't have access to the financial records.  He portrayed Burnett as an odd character with an implication or two about his sexuality.
