Arsenio was a good guest on Conan’s podcast recently.

I can state that he was one of my favorite Tonight Show guests, always approachable… he approached me backstage from time to time, just to shoot the sh*t. 

My personal favorite moment of his Tonight Show appearances was when he shared the couch with the Spice Girls, each more vacuous than the next, and after the girls failed to give coherent answers to any of Jay’s softball questions, Arsenio chimed in to ask them their “thoughts” on the baby-killing nanny that had dominated the news that week. Suffice it to say, the Spice Girls are probably not fans of Arsenio’s, but I was amused. 

Autocorrect kept trying to change Arsenio to arsenic… autocorrect is clearly racist… or not a fan of ‘80s pop cultural icons.

Arsenio was on NPR’s Fresh Air yesterday with Tonya Mosley. If you’re interested in his show and that era of late night it’s worth a listen.
