Canadian election coverage Monday night

Our federal election is on Monday.  As I was driving today, I started wondering who the Canadian Kornacki is.  Who's the "map/wall person"?

I'll have to look at the various network teams this weekend.

Any Canadian listers have network preferences?

I’m a CBC man myself, going back to the Knowlton Nash years. Can’t think of a Kornacki surrogate … maybe someone from 338? (For our US viewers, there are 338 seats in the House of Commons; comparisons to Nate Silver are encouraged).

In my heart, I choose to believe that Canadian election days are tremendously Canadian. Like, instead of polling stations, everybody goes to Tim Hortons, where there are differently colored Tim Bits, each color representing a different candidate. You eat the colored Tim Bit to cast your vote, and if you eat more than one… hey… that’s ok… it’s Canada. The winning candidate gets to slap the losing candidates in the face with a hockey stick. Then everybody drinks Molson and eats back bacon.

I wish I lived in Canada

For the Americans on the list .. I'm wondering if C-SPAN will simulcast the CBC feed again.

Your color legend is as follows:

. Red.  Liberal. Left of center. Justin Trudeau.

. Blue. Conservative. Right of center. Erin O'Toole.

. Orange. New Democratic Party, NDP. Jagmeet Singh. Lefter... Unions... Working people.

. Green. Green party. Can't remember her name.

. Purple.  People's party of Canada, PPC.   Most strongly affiliated with antivax, "my choice to get vaccinated", racist,  white, and actually throwing rocks at Trudeau.    If the Canadian parliament was stormed by a party like in the USA, this would be that kind of party.

Polls are currently at statistical tie between Liberals and Conservatives.

Oddly, back here stateside, the mostly-lefty Democrats have lately been rendered in blue, leaving red to the righty Republicans.  A few decades ago it was the same as the Canucks still have.   B

Apologies, I forgot the Bloc in my list.  They don't run candidates outside of Quebec, which is why it slipped my mind.
