Thanks for today

Just a short note to express my thanks to those who helped out this morning.

It meant some people doing one, two or even 3 jobs during the course of the event.

Special thanks to those who stayed behind when one of our number got mislaid and waited at assembly until they were located and safely accompanied back by Adam and Mark.

This is, of course exactly what we should do, but my thanks as Organiser and Chair for making sure all of our people are safe and out of the wood.

We had produced emergency response maps based on the course maps as usual. In hindsight these were useless as the base map was cut down to fit an A4 sheet, and the lost competitor had ran off the map to the N. So we need to produce a few base maps of the whole map  out to the boundary roads.
