Could you pass a message out to the clubs to see if anyone needs to
complete a 14 hour first aid course? Keith Marsden
(ke...@familymarsden.org) has advised me that there are 3 places free on
the course he is organising. It will take place in Marlow over 2 days:
7 Nov and 19 Dec. The instructor is very good (London Paramedic) and
the practical sessions are outdoors which are fun!

Whilst a one day course is sufficient for most orienteering
requirements, it is required to coach in Type D orienteering areas
(remote and exposed areas) and helped me provide effective first aid at
a recent RTA.
