கடந்த பல மாதங்களாகவே, சமூக வலைத்தளங்கில் பல இடங்களிலும் நான் இலவசம், வளர்ச்சி, வரி விலக்கு, மானியம், ஊக்கத்தொகை குறித்து எல்லாம் எழுதிவருகிறேன்

இந்த மாதம் 22ஆம் தேதி நான் எனது முகநூலில் எழுதியது

ஏழைகளுக்கு முழுவதும் கொடுத்தல் இலவசம் freebie,
பணக்காரர்களுக்கு முழுவதும் கொடுத்தால் வரி விலக்கு tax exemption.
ஏழைகளுக்கு சொஞ்சம் தந்தால் மானியம் subsidy,
பணக்காரர்களுக்கு கொஞ்சம் தந்தால் ஊக்கத்தொகை incentive.

#Hyprocrites in Indian Economics

நேற்று இந்தியன் எக்ஸ்பிரஸ் நாளிதழில் பத்திரிகையாளர் ஞாநி அவர்கள் எழுதியது

What depresses me is the hypocritical attitude of the so-called thinking class, the elite, which includes me and you, the readers. When money is given free to poor, they ridicule it as freebies. Free sops to the industry, though, are called tax exemption by the same elite. Concessions to the poor are called grants and those to the rich are called incentives. In essence both are claimed to be done with the noble motive of lessening the burden of the poor/rich so that they can perform better in their endeavours.

அவரை விட பல நாட்கள் முன்னதாக சிந்தித்ததில் மேலும் மகிழ்ச்சி :) :)
