People love watching TV and as more and more people spend more time in
front of their computers, more and more people are also finding ways
to watch TV on their laptops and PCs. While it is practically easy to
buy a TV-tuner card and plug it in your PC, it's not necessarily the
best way to do it mainly due to reception problems.
But what if you can hook up your computer or laptop with satellite TV
and gain access to thousands of channels? Wouldn't that be cool? Well,
it is definitely cool and is actually possible. What you'll need is a
decent internet connection, a computer (PC or laptop) and a few
dollars to pay for the service.
What?!?! Did I say pay for the service? Yes, I said that. Honestly,
you won't really get any decent online satellite TV service for free.
Don't worry, the fee won't cost you an arm and a leg. It's pretty
cheap and just one-time. Yep, no monthly fees. These companies hook up
to a satellite TV network and broadcast these channels to your
computer via the internet which means that you don't have to install
any hardware on your computer!
Cool huh?! Of course it's cool.
But beware. There are service providers that don't produce what they
promise and just want you to give them your hard-earned money and get
away with it. Luckily though, there are also "good" providers out
there and I've actually found one that offers out 9,000 channels - not
that I watch them all though.
