I've used this product thl Super Box for a few days.
In the beginning, they told me that if I connect my cellphone and tv box to the same home WiFi, then I also can use the mobile APP to upload and download files. they called it LAN connection mode just like I do in the hotspot mode connection.
But I have not suceeded before, until I found my wireless router had been set as a subnet.

I googled what's the definition of LAN, and how can I set several different network devices into the same LAN.
Finally, I got my own simple understanding about "LAN connection mode" expressed by official: Generally, two and more devices have the same first three numerical numbers in IP address, then they have the same network number, they can be considered as in the same layer of LAN - peer network.

For example,
If my phone has an IP address 192.168.1.111, and thl Super Box has an IP address 192.168.1.123, then they both have the same first three numbers 192.168.1, they're in the same layer of LAN.
If my phone has an IP address 192.168.3.111, and thl Super Box has an IP address 192.168.1.123, then their first three numbers are not same, so they're not in the same layer of LAN.

In view of above understanding, I think exactly speaking the LAN connection mode expressed by official should be understood as “Connection mode in the same layer LAN".

So now I figured out why I couldn't use the mobile APP via LAN connection mode, it's just  because my wireless router runs in a subnet mode, the IP address any device connects it will be a subnet IP address like 192.168.3.111, while thl Super Box has an IP address 192.168.1.123 which is an IP address in main network. THEY ARE ACTUALLY NOT IN THE SAME LAYER OF LAN!

P.S.

How to check IP address on thl Super Box.

How to check IP address on your cellphone (The actual operations may vary by different cellphones).

P.S. If we talk about LAN IP address, we must not leave out the bitmask "subnet mask" (or "netmask"), 'cause for IPv4 the subnet mask determines which part of IP address is network address. But here we don't talk about subnet mask in order not to make things complicated, we just talk about the common situation in family network.
