Multiple models at different nodes

Hi, 

I want to use the Jansen-Rit and the Wong-Wang mass models. I want to implement one of the models in some nodes and the other in the other nodes. I'm doing this using python. Is there a way to do so?

hi,

This is possible with a custom model instance which uses a mask to choose which nodes have which dynamics.  The tricky bit is the coupling: the JR coupling function is not the same as RWW so you also need a custom coupling function which handles intra and inter model couplings.  Please take a look at the source for the coupling functions and models and let us know if you have specific questions.
