How do I set up TVB, so I can contribute to TVB??

Hi,

I propose at this point you just download [1], unzip, and use TVB_Distribution.

For composing a GSOC proposal this would be enough.

For working during summer, it might become necessary to setup a contrib env [2] locally in addition, but that would come later.

Hey, I have installed TVB_Distribution. And I tried to understand the current web design and logic of the application. Can you please tell me which pages have to redesign in this project?

Hi,

The pages with a higher need of improvements are: Simulator and Stimulus.

One of the issues here is the color contrast and text-size for input fields, but possibly also arrangement of fields on pages with many inputs.

PS: I put this answer here, to raise the topic with the larger community: what GUI elements you see as most problematic?

But I strongly suggest that GSOC Project specific questions are written on the official INCF channel [1] or on our dedicated Skype group [2] not to bother everybody here with task specific explanations.
