Stimulus width does not change EEG projection?

Hi,

I built a customised stimulus (like the one in the picture) taking a cue from the Pulse Train on TVB (I essentially inverted the sign of the Pulse and added a decreasing exponential). It should be implemented correctly, because the plot_stimulus function shows it correctly.
However, when I go to change the width of the pulse (tau) and the time coefficient of the decreasing exponential (tau_exp) with the idea of decreasing the overall duration of the stimulation, the EEG projection does not change, and the artefact that is presented always lasts about 100 ms. I am using a Jansen Rit model. Any idea what the problem might be?

Thank you.

Sorry, of course the TVB function I meant is plot_pattern, not plot_stimulus.
