hi,

I am not aware of a hypothalamic representation in connectome suitable for TVB.  I suspect you would need to get familiar with tools like FreeSurfer, add the hypothalamus to the parcellation, rerun the conversion of tractography to connectome.

cheers

Hello everyone, and happy new year.

My team seeks to use The Virtual Brain to model experiential states as network-level synchrony, examine their robustness under noise, and test whether such states can reliably engage subcortical regulatory nodes within a biologically plausible connectome.

I’m currently running into a limitation regarding hypothalamic representation. I’ve gone through prior forum discussions and datasets but haven’t found a TVB-compatible connectome that includes hypothalamic nuclei with an appropriate connectivity matrix. If such a resource exists, I’d be grateful for pointers. Otherwise, I’d appreciate suggestions on best-practice alternatives for modeling hypothalamic involvement within TVB.

I look forward to helpful suggestions. Thank you!!
