Dear Temecula Valley Astronomers,
On behalf of Temecula Middle School, I would like to extend our heartfelt thanks for your continued partnership in making Astronomy Night such an extraordinary experience for our students and families.
Because of you, nearly 400 students and family members were able to explore the night sky in ways many had never experienced before. From observing the Moon’s craters and Jupiter’s brilliance to viewing the Orion Nebula and distant galaxies such as Messier 82, your telescopes opened a window to the universe. For many of our students, this was their first time looking through a telescope, and the excitement and wonder on their faces said it all.
Your members were not only generous with your equipment, but also with your time, patience, and incredible depth of knowledge. You brought complex astronomical concepts to life in ways that were engaging, accessible, and inspiring for middle school students. The simple act of stamping their observation worksheets became a meaningful moment of accomplishment and connection for them.
This has been a long-standing tradition, and we are deeply grateful that you continue to place Temecula Middle School’s Astronomy Night on your calendar year after year. Your commitment to our students and to science education does not go unnoticed. Quite simply, this event would not be possible without you.
Thank you for helping us spark curiosity, ignite imagination, and create lasting memories under the stars. We are so fortunate to have you as partners in this meaningful community event.
