Good morning TVAC,

 

I hope you’re having a great week! On behalf of Dr. Andrus, I am thrilled to formally invite you to a groundbreaking photo op for our district's Telescope Project on Friday, May 1st, at 9:00 a.m. We anticipate that the event will last no longer than 20 minutes. This is a special photo opportunity to mark the occasion. Please feel free to share with TVAC members whose email I do not have on file. 

 

As you may know,  this project will provide incredible hands-on, industry-standard learning opportunities for our students. We are thrilled to begin this project and have a permanent installation with rolling telescopes designed to last decades.

 

The groundbreaking will take place in the area between Lisa J. Mails and DMMS. The Board of Education is scheduled to approve a resolution, supporting this project this upoming Tuesday at our special board meeting at 5 p.m.   

We are looking forward to celebrating this milestone with you all.

We were thrilled to receive an email as well (below).  I know we haven’t been to a Friday night stargazing Party in a few few weeks as we’ve been busy. Julien is turning 13 today So we’re celebrating this weekend. But we’re looking  forward to seeing you at the groundbreaking. We are very proud of this kid!
