Sorry about the tardy notice but I'm watching the forecast closely and it seems good to go with temps in the high 70's at showtime...!!! Note sunset is at 7:25pm... another few weeks and we will revise our start time to 7:30pm!!!

We will be moonless again as the almost new moon sets around 7.25pm also...but with the dimmed Piazza lighting we should have a grand view of the Milky Way and all its wonders as well as other nebulae, clusters, and galaxies. Scope or no, come out and enjoy the summer sky while it's still in great form...

RECAP...was it something i said?? Deborah and I provided the only scopes tonight, with Tytan, Itay, Jerry, and Rita providing moral support!!! It was a bit of peek-a-boo with high clouds but not too bad...

We had the usual steady flow of good guests with good questions and comments, and even ran until about 10:30 before packing up...

AND... we had the first official Saturn viewing of the season as it rose about 8:50pm!!! All in all, another great night...

ps - NO PIZZA  AS PROMISED!!!
