I’ve had this SCT for a while now since the Palm Springs pickup. My parents want it gone and I can’t disagree with them.

The poor thing never gets used. I’ll attach pictures below. Her hardware is outdated and I can’t find a hand controller. I doubt it has GoTo, looking like late 90s technology.

The mirror quality itself is perfect and light and I also have a wedge mount you can throw it on. If I was one of you, I’d probably look at harvesting the OTA or at least both mirrors from it.

Unfortunately I’ll have to find something to do with it, and taking it a part is out of my field of expertise. If I have no takers I’ll either have to dump it or hopefully find a place to take it (which will be tough without GoTo or the hand controller!)

Thank you everybody! Will is going to take it. I think it’s a good fit since he already specializes in astronomy without GoTo…
