TVA tour of Palomar P200 Hale telescope - Sat, 5/9/2026... LAST CALL

Last call for tour signups...we will meet at the Museum / Visitors Center at 9:15am before receding up to the dome. After the tour is over at 10:30am, we can chat in the Visitors Gallery and all are welcome to take in the museum... some pretty fascinating history on display!!!

Jim and I are meeting at 7:45am at Birdsall Park by Pechanga to carpool... I can comfortably take 3 more so let me know. Consider packing a snack or lunch as there is no access to food on the mountain...but several nice eateries back down in the valley!!!

I look forward to sharing one of the wonders and marvels of all time with you...

Observatory Weather Report for Saturday, 5/9/2026...starting at 9:15am at the Visitors Center / Museum / Gift Shop

Should be a great day up on the mountain as temperatures will be in the low 60's in the morning and high 60's later on...

The dome will be in the low 50's so take that into account... chilly but not cold at least!!! Sweater Weather...
