With the Summer Solstice behind us, the Sun will start setting earlier... but not yet!!!

The Moon will be a great early target as it'll be a fat gibbous stage... shortly thereafter Venus and Jupiter will appear as they slide down into the western horizon!!!

The Moon may make it difficult to take in some Milky Way objects, especially near the Teapot but lots of other great things to see...

Scope or no, come on out and enjoy the sights and the gab...

Great turnout last night in the Piazza... lots of enthusiastic and engaged guests!!! And then the marine layer just took over just around 9:45pm...

Thanks to Deborah, Will, Paulo, and Sophia for providing scopes and enthralling interactions... Tytan was there without pizza but we let him stay anyway!!! 

We also had a young man bring out his pocket scope and I helped him understand how to get the best from it... great night all around!!!!

Note that in deference to the 4th of July holiday we will not set up on 7/3/2026...

Also, due to a special ABBA Tribute concert we will also miss 7/10/2026...

Hope to see you again on 7/17/2026...
