Celestron C6 with Vixen EQ mount and extras for sale-$400 for TVA members

For Sale: Classic black OTA Celestron C6. It’s in very good shape, the focuser is tight and works perfectly, and both mirrors are clean with no fading or other issues. Includes everything shown in the photos, including the mount and wooden tripod, filters and extra eyepieces as shown (Parks GS- 5 10mm, Parks GS-7 5mm, Celestron 26mm Plossl, Celestron 2x Barlow - all are 1.25”) . Also Includes a homemade laser collimator, and a right ascension drive and motor that works well for extended visual observing of planets, etc.

 

Using this scope will teach you how to use the setting rings with right ascension and declination to locate objects, the old and smart way of doing astronomy!  I’m asking $500 on other websites but for TVA members I’m asking $400 OBO.

Hello everyone, that was a good meeting yesterday. I’ve been thinking of taking some astronomy classes for fun, and will check into the MSJC program.

I just wanted to let all you fine people know that I lowered the price on my C6 telescope that I emailed about earlier, if $350 sounds fair, please let me know. I’m also taking offers.
