In The Sims 3 there was a way to custom color hair but I can't seem to find a way to do it in Sims 4. I've recently started siming again I wasn't sure if there was any mods that make this possible or not? Also if anyone wants to direct me to awesome hair, piercing, clothing, and tattoo mods/cc to check out that would be awesome as well. I've found some cc I like but I'm not satisfied yet I need more. I have almost every pack released for The Sims 4 just in case that matters, I will also be getting my wedding stories on the 22nd. Also any CC referrals I ask to be compatible with wicked whims and basemental mods if at all possible.
I can only find forums asking for these mods but iits all full of people thinking its possible when its not. (they generally misunderstand the question or had a mod that had a bug causing it but didnt know which mod.) I'm wanting to have red hair for all the normal outfits but black hair for the formal one. (im editing a child so im using that one hair style from backyard stuff that has the colored tips.) Does a mod like this exist? Does anyone have any good hair color mods for child sims that dont look hypercritical and actually fit the art style of the game?

I can't change the hair and skin color of my sim, same with makeup and clothes. It was working the last time I played it but when I downloaded some CCs and opened the game it wouldn't work anymore. I tried getting rid of the new CCs I downloaded but it still didn't work. Please help!
There is also the sims 4 studio, which has batch fixes for many pack updates, and instructions on how to use it. Once you've installed S4S, it will go through all folders fixing both hairs and makeup, (different batch fixes) in surprisingly quick time. It fixes the sliders and so on, however, if you still experience problems, you'll still need to find the broken mod or cc.

With the addition of this mod into your game, your Sim will experience a realistic aspect of maintaining growing hair. The goal here is to create a hair progression experience that requires the Sim to clean, cut, color, nourish and style their hair, making them more desirable or appealing to other Sims. With version 0.2, we added the ability to choose the hair color you wanted your Sim to come back with when they go for a Dye Treatment. There were some issues with that on all Alpha hair, some Maxis Match, and very few EA hair. This is now resolved and with a new look as well.
In addition to the ability to choose the color you want, you also have the ability to choose the length you want to see your Sim come back with. Just remember the limitations of going from a long length to a short length while not using a Custom Progression will result in a random style. Going from a Long to Medium or Medium to Short will not result in a random style if cc hair is correctly tagged.

Some things to take notes: I never made CC before so it may be imperfect. The colors of the hairs are a little bit off than the adult versions of the hair. I did use the colors of the adult hair texture if the child hair had the same mesh (like the Paranormal Hairs). I used the Sims 4 Studio.

These measurements were compared to each other and to reflective spectrophotometric measurements of macroscopic hair color. Three areas on three strands of hair were examined for each individual. Despite a large ΔE* value, there is a strong relationship between macroscopic and microscopic L* values that would be useful if one was trying to predict the color of a head of hair (macroscopic) from a strand (microscopic). A relationship between hair lightness (L*) and thickness is also found at both the macroscopic and microscopic levels. The information acquired in this study may be useful to those conducting a microscopic examination of hair, especially in forensic science, as well as those researchers investigating macroscopic hair color and hair morphology for the purposes of forensic science, anthropology, and medical science. Further investigation into objectively measuring and quantifying the microscopic color and properties of hair will assist in increasing its validity as evidence in forensic casework.
