Hi folks,

I'm trying to install TuxTrans 14 on a pentium IV computer. During the installation, the screensaver/black screen starts up and when I press any key to recover a good look of what's happening I'm asked a password for the user "custom". My quuestion is: Is there any transitory/temporary/master password during the startup.
 Thanks.

Regards,
Antonio

Hi,

this shouldn't happen. Which version did you install, the 64bit or the
32bit?
There is no password for the custom user because it is automatically
created by the live system.
It could be that during the creation of the ISO file the underlying
system had the screen saver activated and this could have been
transmitted to the live system 'custom' user. I could check this and
eventually do a new ISO file.

Either this, or something went wrong with your ISO file/download.

best
Peter

Hi Peter,

Thanks for your answer. I tryed to install 32 bits, but probably
something went wrong or the computer is failing; anyway this computer
works perfectly with W7 32 bits.

Probably there is some piece of hardware that is working badly.

Thanks again,
Antonio
