I might have a bit of a messed Docker installation on my Mac..At first I installed Docker desktop but then running it I learned that as I'm on an older Mac I had to install VirtualBox so I did following these steps:

install microsoft remote desktop mac brew

Descargar > https://ssurll.com/2yPtl4

Brew installations are in /usr/local/Cellar/docker/20.10.6 and /usr/local/Cellar/docker-compose/1.29.2.As I see there is also a home-brew for docker-machine should I install docker-machine via home-brew instead?

changed the "credsStore" key value to "desktop" and compose now works as expected. Some pointed out that credsDstore typo was the problem and fixed it with credDstore, but in my case the value was the problem, it works both with "credsStore" : "desktop" and "credStore" : "desktop".

I ran into a similar issue using wsl2 on windows 10 while trying to locally invoke an aws lambda function. I was getting docker.credentials.errors.InitializationError: docker-credential-desktop not installed or not available in PATH when running sam build --use-container. Running which docker-credential-desktop showed no results

Upon further inspection I found that docker-credential-desktop.exe was in PATH however. After a quick google, it seems like enabling the wsl2 backend in Docker Desktop for Windows 10 symlinks wsl/docker-desktop/cli-tools/usr/bin/docker-credentials-desktop.exe to /usr/bin/docker-credential-desktop.exe. To fix this I simply removed the symlink and created a new one without .exe

Many remote desktop solutions require installing something on the computer you are trying to access and the computer you are using to connect. They are heavily proprietary and, frankly, unnecessary. This will get you up and running in 5 minutes; anyone can do it. Now, if you have some familiarity with Docker, I would recommend that method; however, it's not required. I'll show you both.

You will need a paid personal account to proxy a TCP port, which we will do to remote desktop into our computer. I acknowledge there are some free alternatives to do this, but it will be hard to match this level of simplicity, flexibility, and control. ngrok is so versatile it's worth it for me (they did not pay me to say that :). I'm confident it will also be for you once you start playing with it. ngrok - Online in One Line

For added security, I highly recommend setting up Endpoints and IP Policies in Ngrok to ensure you're tunnels are secure. Once set up, they can be applied to your TCP tunnel, allowing you to whitelist access from certain locations, for instance, your workplace.

Homebrew is the most popular package management tool for macOS systems. Using the brew command line utility you can easily add new packages on your mac, but first, you have to install it. This tutorial will help you to install Homebrew on your system using simple commands.

Designed for home brewing, the Tilt hydrometer lets you instantly read your brew's specific gravity and temperature on your compatible Apple iPhone/iPad or Android smartphone/tablet or Tilt Pi. Most Bluetooth 4.0+ devices will work with the Tilt. You can then optionally log data to the cloud using our free Google Sheets template or other 3rd party cloud platforms. See our Apps section for more detail.

Designed for high performance in craft scale stainless steel fermentation tanks, our new Tilt Pro brings Tilt technology along with massively boosted wireless range to professional craft brewers. Order yours today. Satisfaction guaranteed.

At 3x the volume and weight of our original Tilt hydrometer, the Tilt Pro's larger size allows us to increase power for longer range in stainless. The included AA lithium batteries still last for 1 to 2 years depending on use, similar to our standard Tilt. The extra size and weight comes with an extra bonus: improved specific gravity stability at high krausen so you will see a steadier read-out on your iPhone, Android, or Raspberry Pi. In addition, we have boosted range with a power amplifier and high-gain antenna that in testing increased range by 2x to 3x vs. our original Tilt. Now you can see your Tilt through thicker heads of foam and heavier stainless steel walls. To top it off we've included the extra decimal of precision available from the sensors and to the read-out so there are now decimal degrees Fahrenheit as well as higher resolution Celsius. Specific gravity now reads out to the 10,000th place (for example 1.0000). You can now see fermentation activity dropping less than a brewer's point per day. In all we've made several adjustments we believe the craft beer professional (and serious home brewer) is sure to appreciate.

Tilt Pi v2 "Bullseye" SD card image based on Raspberry Pi OS released Sep 2022. Includes Tilt Pi v.2.9.2 Tilt Pi is a local web server and dashboard that logs your Tilt readings to Google Sheets and a variety of 3rd party cloud logging solutions. It runs on all the popular Raspberry Pi models including 3B, 3B+, 3A, 4, Zero W, and Zero W 2 out of the box with no additional hardware (all have WiFi and Bluetooth). It also works on Raspberry Pi 2 with WiFi and BLE adapters. The easiest way to get started is to download our free Tilt Pi image, write to an 8GB or more SD card, add WiFi settings using our built-in setup app, and insert into a Raspberry Pi.

To facilitate WiFi and cloud logging setup, we have included a "SETUP.html" file on the SD card. After making your SD card on a laptop or desktop computer, locate the file "SETUP.html" on the SD card named "boot". This file will guide you through creating the configuration files to copy over your SD card to get your Tilt Pi going. Once configured it will connect to your local WiFi network and you'll receive an email with a link to your cloud data log as well as link to your Tilt Pi dashboard to change settings, calibrate, and view data on your local network. If you have had trouble with reliable logging on one of your tablet or phone devices in the past, this is a great option. We do not sell the Raspberry Pi hardware, however there are many options online to purchase in the region you are in. Costs for a basic set up should be under US $40, depending on version purchased. We plan to make continual improvements on this platform:

With the Tilt hydrometer you never have to open your fermenter to measure your specific gravity or temperature again. Spot check your fermentation progress and know exactly what's happening at any moment. Now you can track your beers fermentation, save those profiles to the cloud, and share with your fellow brewers.

View the specific gravity and temperature of your fermenting beer on your iOS or Android device. Post that data to the cloud and monitor it from anywhere in the world. The Tilt works in standard carboys, kegs, refrigerators, stainless steel fermenters, under pressure...

We've made the Tilt hydrometer easy to integrate and currently support multiple cloud platforms. In addition to the built-in Google Sheets cloud logging integration, there is also Brewstat.us, Monitor.beer, CraftBeerPi, CraftMetrics, Brewfather.app, BrewR8, and BrewersFriend that each provide a unique way to collect and analyze your data remotely. We also show you how to "bring your own cloud" (BYOC) by copying our Google Sheets template integration and running it on your own Gmail account.

This has been bugging me for quite a while (and no amount of internet searching has amounted to a decent solution), so I'm hoping someone can offer some sage advice. When I try and start a Remote Desktop session from a Mac to a Windows domain-joined PC, using Microsoft's latest Remote Desktop Client (v10.3.9 currently), I'll often receive the error in the following screenshot.

Is there a way I can enable non-Windows clients to connect to domain-joined Windows PCs by remote desktop, without making NTLM authentication exceptions for each target PC? Kerberos doesn't seem available for the Mac RDP Client, is there another authentication mechanism that is supported?

So, looks like a failed Network login using NTLM authentication. As per various security best-practices and recommendations, I have tried to disable NTLM authentication in the domain, by applying the following group policies to Domain Controllers, using the Default Domain Controllers Policy:-

P.S. Just thought, haven't mentioned certificates. I have deployed an internal PKI and have RDP Certificates automatically deployed by GPO also. From the client, I am prompted whether or not to trust the certificate, the 0x207 occurs after I choose Accept to Trust the certificate, and then enter my domain\user name and password. As above, I can connect if an NTLM exception is listed, or login will fail if the server is not listed as an exception.

As an alternative to the Microsoft RDP client on Mac, I have tried another app called freerdp, installed with brew install freerdp. This also fails to login to any PC where NTLM has not been explicitly enabled, but gives a far more informative error message than the Microsoft client, especially with the log-level set to TRACE. I'm not certain if it support Kerberos, CredSSP, or similar, but maybe this additional information may prove useful:-

Policy "Network Security: Restrict NTLM: NTLM authentication in this domain: Deny for Domain Accounts to Domain Servers" is restricting NTLM connections to domain servers. If you want to connect to domain via client which does not support Kerberos you have to disable this policy or maybe try option "deny for domain accounts".Other potential problem is that you have turned on NLA (Network level authentication). Try to turn it off and try again.
