Congratulationsto everyone who participated in The Durrell Challenge. Now that the event has wrapped up, we want to share with you this Henry-curated playlist that was made available to people who signed up for the 13K, along with a message from him. Hopefully, it inspires you to start training for next year's Durrell Challenge and help save endangered animals all over the world. Download the playlist on Spotify.

Dear all, we love your feedback! -- Just some common guidelines: Please respect each other, and most importantly respect Henry. We don't like deleting comments, but we will if we feel they're offensive/inappropriate/off topic. In order to provide a safe space for our community, at times comments may be pre-moderated.

Thank you for contributing to this blog.

I really, really, really want to know what Henry's playlist is like. What kind of songs would he listen to, if his playlists are like based on moods/feelings (for example 'Chill' or 'Dance Party'), does he have a lot of playlists or he just has one where he puts all his favorite songs.

Co-host Adam Gross interviews James Henry Voelz, owner of Mom and Pop Productions, about his work in the Lafayette music scene and he shares 5 songs from bands that have recently played, or will soon be playing, in the greater Lafayette area. We listen to the Local Frequency tracks for July and hear clips from our weekly, local music playlist.

WFYI's Small Studio Sessions features musicians playing sets in the WFYI Small Studio. Mostly local and always powerful, these sessions bring music directly to you! You might see bands or musicians you already love or new favorites to add your playlists....

Hojotoho heioha! With Wagner's epic Ring cycle finally arriving at La Monnaie this month, this playlist takes you on a (valkyrie) ride through northern mythology. We halt at a historically inspired performance of the Edda, Henry Purcell's rendition of the King Arthur myth and Edvard Grieg's Peer Gynt, only to end where it once all began: at the bottom of the Rhine, where precious gold engenders a four-part epic music drama.
