Error at login with Fdroid release

Greetings

I have tried both the Google Play Store and Fdroid release.

I can log in to the Google Play Store release with no issues.

When I try to login, when using the Fdroid release I get a error message: Login failed -- Error: An error in the openssl library: certificate verify failed
I have tried to download it 3 times and same error message every time.
I have also tried to make a new account and get the same error.

Version at Google Play Store is 0.7.2.5
Version at Fdroid is 0.7.2.4

A number of users are reporting this issue. I think it might be a configuration problem in the F-Droid app. I'll see what I can do to fix.
