So, my security model pretty much relies on system-wide encryption. That said, it's very inconvenient to have to enter passwords to decrypt the data in the cloud on top of it. Is there any plan to add a 'store password forever' feature in the desktop app?

I second this. Not having automatic sign-in (on desktop and android) is a huge dealbreaker for me. My passwords are all stored in a password manager, which can't autofill easily.

I second this, but on Android too.

It's scary to end up in an area without cellular service and not be able to see my notes, just because I cannot sign in. Just keep me logged in, even if the app is closed.

Yes, please!
I hate to be on a plane and not being able  to read or add notes ...
