Hi,
I have installed a turtl server behind an apache server which serves a self-signed web server.

Using the desktop client on MacOS works perfectly. But, I cannot use the same logins on the Android client. I always get an OpenSSL error "certificate verify failed".

Is there a way to allow using a self-signed certificate on Android?

Thanks,
Sébastien

Note: other applications ask during the setup if trusting the certificate is OK or not. I think that this is missing.

Interesting:
- The error for the f-droid version is "server certificate failed"
- the error from the google play store version is "unable to get local issuer certificate"

Right, there's a problem in the F-Droid version with verifying ANY certificates. There's a fix for this in the v0.7.2.5 F-Droid version coming (hopefully) soon.

As far as self-signed certificates, this is an open issue: https://github.com/turtl/tracker/issues/235

If possible, you might want to try Let's Encrypt until #235 is completed.
