Each license consists of one or more Entitlement IDs (EID). As soon as you use the current Entitlement ID of a license for activation, the previous Entitlement ID is locked. It can then no longer be used for activations or returns. The Entitlement ID replaces the validation code known from the older licensing technology. In contrast to the validation code, the Entitlement ID connects directly to your computer or server during the activation.
After the activation the license is connected directly to your computer or the server. This also applies to those Entitlement IDs that were, for example, generated by updates for a license. As long as this binding exists, the license cannot be activated on another computer or server. The return of the Entitlement ID separates the license from the computer and the activation of the license on another computer is then possible.

As suggested by @Samuela, could you please check if you are using any network sniffing app? Getting "SSL certificate validation failed error" means you are running any Network sniffing tools ( ex: fiddler). That means, if any network sniffing tools are running in the background the following process will stop working:
it appears that my company has updated the Network sniffing tool (we have Zscaler)...Whilst it was no problem on my old laptop 2 years ago the security has been updated and with the latest version this got blocked. Once my IT guy uninstalled it temporarily and disconnected from any VPN I was able to activate and it's running fine now.

when I want to register my Enpass version I get the following error message:
SSL certification validation failed. Please try restarting Enpass.
A restart does not bring any improvement!
What can I do?

Our company uses ZScalar, so that is the cause. Will this not cause any issue with updates? It seems to. When I use the Check for Updates, it fails also. As is how can update the app or know that that it needs updating?
In this scenario, regrettably, the only viable resolution would involve reaching out to your IT department when you intend to activate or update. Additionally, you can cross-check the version of the app you are currently using with the latest version accessible from here.
This is not an acceptable solution. Your SSL verification check cannot be relied upon. To add further to this, I GET the verification email that the app is sending. However due to this flawed implementation, I am unable to enter the verification code I received. Asking people to "go ahead and get IT to disable network intercepts" every time users want to activate or update is bad.
WIth all due respect Abhishek, No, that is not the only viable resolution. Enpass should offer (like other applications do) the ability for an end user to decide to bypass the SSL Validation Checks for when Enpass is communicating with your servers for purposes of Activation and Updates.
Larger corporations with extensive Firewall implementations often WILL NOT permit exceptions to their SSL "man in the middle" filtering of HTTPS/SSL traffic. It is their right and us as employees of said organization, to follow, their policy and intentions for doing so.
That's not acceptable, and I'm perplexed at the replies from Enpass in this thread. Also unacceptable is the fact that a software which is advertized to work offline (as a big plus to differentiate it from the competition) now refuses to let me access my passwords because it decided to call home and considered it's better to shut down entirely and lock me out ... after paying for a license.
This isn't just unreliable, it's downright scary, and in this particular case absolutely detrimental. I guess it's my fault for using and trusting closed source software for mission critical activity. Seems like it's time to finally switch away from Enpass.
Same here... Can't access enpass on my company laptop. Hopefully I was able to register it (don't know how), so I can access and save new password in google chrome, but not possible to open the app (to change the configuration or update).

این اخطار که معمولا بعد از نصب نرم افزار ای پلن از ورژن های 2.3 به بعد دیده میشود . در واقع نشان دهنده این است که آفیسی که بروی سیستم عامل شما است نسخه 32 بیتی ست . و بایستی آن را به نسخه 64 بیتی ارتقا دهید .اگر برنامه های Microsoft Office را در نسخه 32 بیتی نصب کرده اید باید از پایگاه داده SQL Server برای مدیریت قطعات مدیریت پروژه و فرهنگ لغت استفاده کنید. در این حالت تغییر قسمت انتخاب به تنظیمات خاص پروژه در گفتگو تنظیمات: انتخاب قسمت (پروژه)) امکان پذیر نیست.اگر پایگاه داده Access برای پایگاه داده مربوطه تنظیم شده باشد هنگام شروع EPLAN پیام خطای مربوطه صادر می شود. در این حالت استفاده از SQL Server را در گفتگوی تنظیمات برای مدیریت قطعات مدیریت پروژه و فرهنگ لغت مشخص کنید.
این اخطار در زمانی که در تب project و زیر مجموعه Mangment باز میکنید مشاهده میشود , و مربوط به دیتا بیس های نرم افزار از جمله تجهییزات و پارت (part) مختلف نرم افزار میباشد .همچنین این اخطار از قسمت utility و قسمت part در هنگام ورود دیده میشود .که با نصب آفیس 64 بیتی مرتفع میشود.
این اخطار در زمان نصب نادرست یا ناقص نرم افزار ای پلن اتفاق می افتد.بدنبال لایسنس نباشید اگر نرم افزار را از سایت معتبر داخلی یا شرکت های معتبر دانلود یا خریداری کردید
اولین اقدام پاک کردن کله نرم افزار است که البته بایستی با نرم افزار های قدرتمند پاک شود مثل Advanced Uninstaller PRO 12 بعد از اون دو اقدام دیگر بایستی انجام داد اینکه فایل EPlan در قسمت درایو C از پوشه user/public بایتستی شیفت دلیت بشود و همچنین اگر کرک نرم افزار در قسمت منیجر نصب شده است باید پاک گردد.
غالب اوقات شما با انجام این کار ها باز هم نمیتوانید با نصب مجدد وارد نرم افزار شوید و با این اخطار مواجه میشوید در اینجا باید بگوییم که بایستی ویندوز خود را عوض کنید ?
گاها در هنگام نصب و پس از ورود به نرم افزار ایلپن E-plan p8 با زدن گزینه new برای ساخت یک پروژه جدید در قسمت انتخاب الگو یا تمپلیت محتویات داخل نرم افزار خالی است و هیچ گونه الگو و تمپلیتی در آن قسمت وجود ندارد.در این باره باید بگویم که شما باز در نصب نرم افزار دقت لازم را نداشتید یا ورژن قبلی را به درستی پاک نکردید .
