3rd edition of bindaas festivzl for me and another success. I discovered the concept of the social festival, it changes!I . I love the vibes of bindaas, the atmosphere, the kindness, the level of dancing.
small improvement for me in the competition: I found that it was a real chance to be able to dance with the guest judges. on the other hand in terms of organization I had difficulty understanding the process. I was not added to the Whatapp conversation that had been created (I learned about it from a participant on the day) and I think that written support could have been a real plus, especially for people who are not at comfortable with English.
A lot of misorganization, promised concert didnt happened and there was no replacement. Ratio follower/ leader totally imbalanced, competition was totally chaotic and it is not devided as advertised in two/three groups, beginners are competing with teachers which makes it not fair and was not promised like that. Level of dancers were good and dance people were super nice though. But you can find this at any other festival as well. The concept has a lot of potential, but not with this organisation. Not recommended at all.

3. ?warm and Rounds: The competition starts with warm up of contest on Friday at 19:00 which is optional for contestants, round 1 & 2 ( final round) are on Saturday where all contestants dance with one of our judges
4. ? Judging Criteria: Judges evaluate participants based on social skills, etiquettes, musicality, connection, comfortless, and easiness of the dance. The level of the bachata dance is not the key.
5. ? Leader-Follower Dynamics: Emphasizing the ability to adapt to different partners and showcase skills in leading or following through a social dance. So keep it calm, easy and most importantly comfort and adapt to your partner.

Constable Sheikh, alias 'Bindaas', of Uri (in Baramulla) made the supreme sacrifice while neutralising three Jaish-e-Mohammad terrorists during a joint operation with the Army at Kreeri in the north Kashmir district on May 25 last year, officials said.
