Does the Python formatting tool Black have an option for undoing the formatting changes it made after it's been run? Or does it assume I'm using source control and making my own backups? This is as of December 2019 and Black version 19.3b0.

Some text editors and IDEs like Pycharm allow you to simply hit cmd+Z (or whatever the undo command is within the editor) to revert back to the state before autoformatting. Also, before autoformatting you can test out what the results will be using Black Playground.

I'm using Inkscape to edit a graph with colours, however, whenever I undo a scale change or undo a movement my graph loses it's colour and turns black and white. Why is this happening? Does anyone know how to stop this or at least bring the colour back? Thanks in advance.

So I created a new album called black and white. I put all my coloured images in there that I wanted black and white. I thought it would only effect that one album if I changed all my photos black and white. (I had a preset over them beforehand). However it changed all my other photos in all my other albums. I want to undo black and white to the preset I once had. The V shortcut doesn't work. I'm on Adobe Lightroom on Macbook. Thank you!!

Often when I'm creating or editing a campaign, the black bar across the top of the page is twice as deep as usual and completely covers the "save", "undo", "redo", "check & preview", and "continue" options (see screen shot below). This can happen when I first open the campaign and/or when I've just saved my changes and continue to work on the campaign again. This used to happen only occasionally but is happening now more frequently. It's extremely annoying but, far worse, I can't trust that my changes will be saved, in spite of autosave.

Another time, I completely loose vector layer (I mean, the vector layer disappear but the Create vector layer action in undo stack is not yet reached)
The vector layer content was still visible on canvas, but not in layer stack.
The funny thing, the undo stack still continue to display undo actions about this vector layer that has been deleted.

Text in white on white so I went to change font color to black and ended up changing background as well. Now everything is black so I can't see menus to undo. There was no 'Undo' option. Is there a workaround to return font/background color to default?

Thanks for your continued help! The links in IE are white, as always. Firefox (V70) respects my page background color choice - always black - and allows text I enter to appear in white. Sadly, not so for links.

For at least 30 years, I've used a black screen background, with white letters. This mimics air traffic controllers' screens: white and colored symbols on a black background. This set-up limits eye-strain for folks who must stare at their screen for two-hours at a stretch. Eye-fatigue for them puts lives at risk.

While almost all computer screens can generate a true (jet) black, most cannot provide a true white. So the normal Windows theme uses a gray-white background, against which nominally black letters become a dark gray. This low-contrast color scheme is akin to staring at a fluorescent bulb. I see no reason to abuse my eyes: they are not replaceable!

Dear JScher, I am not - and have never been - a software engineer. Thus, I do not modify programs by making changes, the impacts of which I cannot assess or undo, should the impacts be adverse. I will make changes using menus provided by the software engineers. But I will not go into "source code" or similar files, and alter them. I simply lack the knowledge to do this.

The tobacco industry has deliberately targeted African American/Black communities through the use of menthol and it has had devastating effects. You can get rid of the menthol loophole and menthol tobacco products for good. Learn more at undo.org/we-are-not-profit

Recent studies have looked at the mortality in the Medicaid population and found that those who live in predominately black or African American communities suffered greater risk of premature death from particle pollution than those who live in communities that are predominately white. Another large study found that Hispanics and Asians, but especially blacks, had a higher risk of premature death from particle pollution than whites did. This study found that income did not drive the differences. Higher-income blacks who had higher income than many whites still faced greater risk than those whites, suggesting that the impact of other factors such as chronic stress as a result of discrimination may be playing a role. Other researchers have found greater risk for African Americans from hazardous air pollutants, including those pollutants that also come from traffic sources. Due to decades of residential segregation, African Americans tend to live where there is greater exposure to air pollution.

This beautiful six-color set from Boku-Undo combines traditional Japanese sumi ink with colored dyes to create deep, moody paints that blend and layer like watercolors. The large watercolor pans look black when dry, but wet these colors with a brush and they turn into six different dark colors with muted hues. Each color is capable of creating a deep, opaque shadow color when used straight and a series of subtle transparent colors when diluted with water.

After World War II, cigarette companies were trying to figure out how to market to a still segregated but new black middle class. They found 5 percent of blacks preferred menthol, as compared to 3 percent of whites, said Phillip Gardiner, who studies tobacco use for the University of California.

Today, nearly nine out of 10 black smokers prefer menthol cigarettes. Andrea Villanti is a professor of psychology at the University of Vermont. She said a menthol cigarette ban will affect black communities.

i'm working in Ps, a painting project, and now my whole project has turned black and white. all of my layers. I'm fairly sure I pressed something accidentally but I don't know what or how to fix it. help??

Neural nets generally do well with that encoding. Tree-based models, however, may benefit from the original encoding or ordinal encoding. So while experimenting with different models, I found myself needing to undo the one-hot encoding.

The 6 interference mica based watercolors in their "aurora" set are ideal for use on dark paper, or over their black ink-like colors in the Japanesque set. All 6 of these iridescent colors are lightfast. In the black-ish color set, it appears that a fugitive red color was used in the reddish-black. They seem to have mixed this same color with the blue to create the purplish-black (labeled E03 and E07 in newer sets), resulting in 2 fugitive colors in this 6 set.

When pressing the keyboard shortcut ctrl+Z (cancel the action) the screen becomes black. I spent an hour drawing and accidentally * forgot about this bug - I pressed this combination. And all the work is in the trash.

the error occurs not only for me alone. I am teaching one guy and he also wrote that the entire editor disappears when he presses the ctrl +Z key combination.

Another reason to stop using the built-in Piskel is the difficulty of overwriting the image when trying to save it. I made a thread about it: Piskel does not overwrite the image when expected and sometimes crushes while using Ctrl + Z (undo)

The easy undo design is also perfect for anyone with mobility difficulties and can make life a little easier by potentially being able to slide them out from underneath you when they need washing. Plus, isn't that satin elastic waistband super cute!?

Lewis received a grant for the full $12,000 offered to business owners through Avenues of Hope. Overhead lamps frame the bold, red-and-black words, and provide a source of light for pedestrians in the neighborhood.

Black ink applied to text or native InDesign objects is overprintedby default to prevent misregistration of small black-type characterspositioned over color areas, or of color areas outlined with blacklines. You can change black ink settings using AppearanceOf Blackpreferences.

If you use the OverprintFill option on a 100% black stroke or fill, the black ink may notbe opaque enough to prevent the underlying ink colors from showingthrough. To eliminate the show-through problem, use a four-color(rich) black instead of a 100% black. Consult with your serviceprovider about the exact percentages of color to add to the black.

Toknock out black objects in InDesign, you must prevent the blackswatch from overprinting. Unlike most color swatches, which knockout by default, the black swatch overprints by default, includingall black strokes, fills, and text characters. The 100% process blackappears as [Black] in the Swatches panel. Knock out black objectsby either deselecting the overprint default in Preferences or byduplicating the default black swatch and applying the duplicatedswatch to color objects that knock out. If you disable the overprintsetting in the Preferences dialog box, all instances of Black knockout (remove underlying inks).

Overprint [Black] Swatch at 100% doesnot affect tints of [Black], unnamed black colors, or objects thatappear black because of their transparency settings or styles. Itaffects only objects or text colored with the [Black] swatch.

If you are using the Color tab method to get rid of your background, it is possible to key out colors other than black. These tips will help you to get a more precise color selection of a background of any color.

Cropping is a video editing technique that lets you choose the visible part of a video or image frame. You can cut out unwanted elements or lines at the edges of a video or fit an image to a different aspect ratio.

Read on to learn how to crop videos or images, for instance to remove black bars (also called "letterboxing"). In addition to cropping, Clipchamp also lets you trim, zoom, or change the aspect ratio of a video.
