Hello Oleg,

I have installed Coturn on my virtual machines (CentOS 7.1). It was running fine since past week but since last couple of days, the turn process just dies abruptly. On checking the logs, I observe below error-

0: Trying to bind DTLS/UDP listener socket to addr 96.119.40.196:443, again...
0: Trying to bind fd 50 to <96.119.40.196:443>: errno=13
0: Cannot bind DTLS/UDP listener socket to addr 96.119.40.196:443

0: Trying to bind fd 50 to <96.119.40.196:443>: errno=13
0: Cannot bind DTLS/UDP listener socket to addr 96.119.40.196:443
0: Trying to bind DTLS/UDP listener socket to addr 96.119.40.196:443, again...
0: Trying to bind fd 50 to <96.119.40.196:443>: errno=13
0: Cannot bind DTLS/UDP listener socket to addr 96.119.40.196:443
0: Fatal final failure: cannot bind DTLS/UDP listener socket to addr 96.119.40.196:443

We have tried to restart the processes multiple times and even hard reboot the machines, but no luck. Is this a problem with CentOS. Can you please advise?

Thanks!
-Hiren

Check your ip addresses - may be the address is gone ? Or disk full ? Or else...

ipv4 and ipv6 are not lost. Also disks are at 18% usage.

Another possibility is that your running older kernel with newer distribution. Try to recompile turn server on the system that you are using.

I figured out. We had changed our startup script to use custom user (turnserver) and that was creating issues for binding on port 443. When we changed it to root (or other custom user which had permissions), it worked.

Thanks for your help.
