Assalamu alaikom wa Rahmetullah;
Dear Brothers and Sisters;
As of now, we have included almost all interested parties in this list.
Many of you already replied to indicate your willingness to serve in the Advisory Committee of "Turkish Symposium" in ISNA 2010. If you have not responded so far, please do so to let others know who you are. That would make each of us feel comfortable in our discussions.
We can now begin sharing our ideas to determine the best setting, topics, speakers, etc. for our next event during ISNA 2010.
Let me, first, tell you that we will inshAllah organize this symposium under the mentorship of Professors Yusuf Ziya Kavakci and Erdogan Gurmen who are already members in this list.
Based on the feedback received during the last event orally or in the feedback forms, we have already expanded this committee to about 18-20 brothers and sisters. There are few younger brothers and sisters so that they begin owning this and similar events.
I would like all of you to write your ideas under the following topics at your convenience, but no later than Oct. 15, 2009.
Then, we will reduce many ideas into few feasible ones, and prepare a written proposal to be submitted to ISNA by early January 2010 ins. (latest).
At that time, this committee will become an organizing body, probably with fewer but fully dedicated members.
