Hi all

This weekend has one of the holly weekends for both Muslim and Turkish people. It is called Eid Al-Adha. You can get more information about this eid here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eid_al-Adha
For this reason we have a couple of event to announce:

1) On Sunday at 4pm, we will gather with our members to celebrate the eid with Turkish tea, cookies, and some pastries. It will be at Riverside Pavilion (Park at Manderson Landing).

2) Starting on Saturday at 8 am, there will be breakfast and eid celebration and lunch from the specially cooked lamp meats and rice (which we call "kavurma pilav". You can see some delicious pictures here: http://bit.ly/1qXEhm9) This will be at Istanbul Cultural Center at Birmingham. The address of the event is: Istanbul Cultural Center: 2146 Centennial Drive, Hoover AL 35216

3) The last event is an Eid Dinner from the Muslim Student Association of our university. It will be on Sunday between 6pm and 9pm at Ferguson Ballroom. You can rsvp from Facebook event here: https://www.facebook.com/events/444340895707018

Hope to see you from either one of the events. If you feel foreigner and hesitate for that reason, feel free to contact with me and I will guide you in the events.
