Dear Colleagues,
This is a kind reminder about the call for papers for the edited volume "Ottoman Archaeology in South-Eastern Europe" (ed. Adriana Gașpar), dedicated to the archaeological evidence and material culture of the Ottoman period (15th–18th centuries).
As mentioned in the initial call, the project is supported by the "Vasile Pârvan" Institute of Archaeology (IABVP) and the Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TİKA), Romania
Deadline reminder:
Title and abstract (400–500 words, including affiliation and contact details): 1 September 2025
Full paper submission: 16 January 2026
Many thanks to all colleagues who have already sent their abstracts. For those still preparing their proposals, please find the call attached as a PDF.
