Saturday Night Potluck Party at the Beach

Hi beach folks,

 

I'm the Food Coordinator for our Saturday Night Potluck Party this weekend and I'm going to need all of your help.  Since this is a potluck, each person needs to bring a dish so sign up next to the items that you would like to bring.  Please keep in mind that if you don't bring any food, we won't have a party.  Chips are welcome but in addition to a dish or another item on the list.  If you don't know how to cook or don't have time to prepare, no worries.  Go straight to your nearest Safeway, Giant, or Harris Teeter and they'll have prepared foods with no hassle.  They open early in the morning and close late at night. 

 

Here's what's we need.  We have about 40 hungry souls coming to the party on Saturday night.

 

Chips and salsa (2 persons only)

Mix green salad (1 person) please bring salad dressing/utensils for serving

Vegetable tray (1 person)

Cut-up fruits - cantaloupe, strawberries, watermelon, and pineapple (2 persons) (please bring already cut up fruits or you can cut them up at the campsite just bring your own knife and containers)

20 Hot dogs (2 persons)

30 Hamburgers (3 persons)

15 Chicken (3 persons)

Hot dog buns (1 person for 20 hot dog buns)

Hamburger buns (1 person 30 burger buns)

Cole slaw (1 person) bring a container and serving utensil ready to be served

Potato salad (1 person) bring a container and serving utensil

Charcoal and match to light fire (2 persons)

Marshmallows and graham crackers good for 40 people (2 persons)

Cookies (2 persons)

Brownies (2 persons)

Condiments (e.g. mustard, ketchup and pickles/relish, salt, pepper) (1 person)

Cut-up tomatoes, lettuce, onions (you can bring them already cut-up or you can cut them yourself at the campsite)

Trash bags (1 person)

Lots of bottled water (2 people)

Cans of soda (3 people)

Long sticks to roast our marshmallows during the campfire (2 persons)

 

Additionally, we need lots of assistance with the following pre- and post party activities:

Cooking (2 persons)

Food setup (2 persons)

Food clean-up (5 persons)

Campfire setup (1 person)

Guitarists (2 persons - bring guitar and music pieces for the singing)

Bongos and other musical instruments that would make our party lively

Hello Beach Folks,

 

I have a small child-size beach chair with cup-holders in the arm supports.  It is green/blue/red.  Is it yours?

 

Did anyone find my black-handled knife and flexible plastic cutting board?  Both of them had my name on them (my address tag).
