Fishman is one of the races four in the Mine Mine No Mi mod. They are capable of swimming at 1.8 times the speed of a normal player, have permanent water breathing, and receive the Night Vision effect whilst underwater.
As a fishman, if you have devil fruit and you happen to get into water you will sink and lock your abilities like usual and wont be able to swim but you wont drown. (Keep slabs or stairs on you just incase, so you can get out half block by half block)
I'm sorry for the difficulties you've experienced and thanks for your efforts while working on this matter. Let me explain that when starting a swim activity on your Sense or Versa 3, the water lock will be enabled to prevent the screen from activating by itself while doing your exercise. As @Tiggerrr mentioned, you'll need to double press the side button to unlock your watch and either end your exercise, or resume it.
Let me help you with your Sense's swim mode. When your device is in this mode you just need to press the button to exit said mode and then you can use the screen to end your activity. You can find more information about swimming here.
I have a malfunctioning sense...maybe it's similar. I press the button til it turns dark. The logo will appear & then the clock will appear. I literally have to do this when I want to stop the swim timer.
This continues to happen to me. I have only been able to stop it by resetting my Versa 3. Inconvenient and annoying. I swim daily and considering other device options because of it. Reset by holding the left button until you see the Fitbit logo.

Swimming is unlocked after defeating the Open Sky Titan. While riding Koraidon/Miraidon, you can jump into the water and they'll immediately switch to swimming mode. While swimming, you can still jump and even use the dashing ability like you can on land.

Summarize your bug I can't start the "sink or swim" story mission anymore I tried it once, but my car wasn't ready, so I left. after tuning my car and getting used to drifting I wanted to do the mission again , but it won't let me start it shows the logo on the map, but when i go to the point to start it, it won't pop up the menu An the weirdest part is that the drift chalange itself is there too and I can do the chalange , but I won't be able to progress that bit of the story

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Not `100% sure I think starting the driving story, quiting and just doing other missions ,raising heat, then comming back that is how it started for me
What happens when the bug occurs? the icon for the story mission stays on the map, and the waypoint shows when you go to the place, but it won't show the menu to start the driving story , while letting you do the drift challange without the story
What do you expect to see? a fix so I can progress that part of the story

When this code is enabled, Chao that can't swim are at risk of losing their lives to drowning. Chao that cannot swim will not be interested in going into any water, with the only exception to this being the water found in the Hero Garden. However, entering any garden will spawn Chao in places that force them to jump into water to get to the garden's mainland. The Chao's personality can also influence what sicknesses the Chao can get. For example, personalities will decide if a Chao gets a Cold or Running nose from swimming too much. If you have a very active Chao, it will likely be the latter. If a Chao has a Big Eater personality, it will not get a Stomachache if the Chao has overeaten because the player forced them to eat.
While this code will make getting a Perfect Chao more difficult, it also increases a Chao's stats very slowly until they reach level 10.
