Goofy question. Is there a command line option that enables the user to turn off the "Would you like to reconnect..." prompt when a user logs out of a session?

Yes, -noreconnect.  Pass -? and -?? to the viewer to get documentation on (respectively) the normal and advanced parameters, which can be set either on the command line or in a connection info file.
