In turborisk, I can not select certain colors, for a player, say for
example black, it will just scroll back to the last selected color.

Black and White are not allowed because they are used for the text boxes
to display the number of armies. Using them for player colors would
potentially cause the text boxes to start changing colors. So when you
choose black, it gets reset because it is not allowed. It would be less
confusing if black was not even an option. I don't know if Mario, the
author, has the time to fix this minor issue but if he sends me a future
beta version then I will remind him about this issue then.

Understood. However it is not just black and white that are affected
but any color in the list above the default.

I'm sorry but I can't reproduce this bug.

Close turborisk then try deleting the turborisk.ini file in the
turborisk folder (make a backup first so that you don't loose your
settings) and then check to see if the problem is still there.

After a reinstall, it works as yous tated. Only black or white cannot
be selected and if they are it will scroll the list back to the
previously chosen color.
