Stupid Question

I hate to ask such a stupid question, but how do players obtain
cards? One per turn? One each time you conquer a territory?

I would be thankful if someone can tell me. Thanks.

You get one card per turn but only if you have conquered at least one
territory during that turn.

In addition to this, players can get cards by killing other players: if you kill a player, you will get the cards he owns (if he has some).
