Some of the Financial routines won't converge on particular data
(as mentioned in the "Iterative Routines" section), do you have
some reason to suppose this particular set of data will?

In use NonPeriodicIRR, the following does not Converge:

(-1,625,625,625,625,625,625,625,3751.05)
(146948,146979,147009,147040,147071,147101,147132,147162,147164)

Function does not Converge

using 3.03

Scott

These values are based on user input of their asset.

I guess my question is how do I tell if the data is valid (will converge).
And how do I explain to the user that they just happened to enter data the
NPIRR function did not approve of.

Also, 'Iterative Routines' section.. where might I find this.. did not see
it
in the help file.

Regards,
Scott

It's in the manual's introductory section on the Financial routines.

I don't think there's an a priori way of knowing that from
examining the data values alone.

Controlling how many iterations are tried before giving up on
convergence is the function of the StEpsilon and StMaxIterations
global variables that are described in that same section.
