With ffserv32 1.56 running, the compiled codegun in the FF1 folder raises an
exception during startup and exits.

Is there a code snippet or application that will analyze a working ff 1.56
database and write the delphi code necessary to recreate it?

TIA

It is supposed to support both FF1 and FF2 :-)

Larry,

Do you get some msg in French stating smthg like:

Exception EReadError dans le module FFCG.EXE a (some address)
Erreur lors de la lecture de ffTable1.FieldDefs: Propriete inexistante

If so, this means I goofed when compiling for FF1...
(the app is designed with FF2 _then_ compiled (DCC32) for FF1. That one
didn't crop up at that time. Sorry for that)

Let me know whether you get this error or some other <g>...

The compiled version assumes a FF 1.57 server
