Hello,

1) Is there a way to submit an ASCII Text file to an Outlook directory
(so that Outlook can pickup the file and send the file email) ???

2) Is there a way through BP7/OPRO to send text email?

3) Is there a way to display a JPEG (or other graphic file). This most
likely cannot be done within a DOS BP7 application, however, can this DOS
application call/execute Internet Explorer with a command-line parameter of
a graphic file, and have IE load the graphic file thorugh a window?

Thanks

Outlook can attach text file from any folder the PC has access to.

You can send e-mail from a DOS application but OPRO has nothing to help in
that area - it's not what it's designed to do. To do it from a DOS
application you will need a TCP/IP stack, and a connection to the internet.

You can probably display a JPEG in DOS, but you will need some kind of
library (or write your own) to achieve this. A DOS application cannot call a
WIN32 application, not in a pure DOS environment anyway.
